history & maturity

IACHA concepts are integrated and have been real disciplines utilised more than 3,500 years ago. Learning to incapacitate a joint; can in turn be utilised to heal and recuperate with IACHA.

IACHA is a part time course catering to novice, student, martial artist and professional practitioner. We have taught IACHA for over 15 years.

IACHA is a transmission from master to student system, as exemplified in some Qi Gong lineages; forming the basis of training; similar to that of an apprenticeship.

Concise view

Tui Na
directly translated means push/seize (catch). To treat injury and illness especially for small children. Tui Na has been used since the Ming Dynasty 1368, to cure some illnesses of small children and occasionally adults.

De Da Sun Sang or bonesetting
means fall, hit, damage, injury. Allowing for the ability to treat any sport related injury; traditional Chinese martial arts training form an integral part in refining this scope. Dealing with trauma such as fractures, bruising, sprains, and dislocations.

Pu Tong An Mo
Primarily a relaxing massage using a number of specific movements and techniques. It is safe and simple to learn and ideal for patients recovering from fatigue and stress. It is not used to treat injury or illness and no knowledge of Qi or philosophy is required.

Qi An Mo
Curing with external Qi Gong; implies treatment done through Qi induction rather than touch and is technically not a massage. There are two treating techniques; infants since it can easily injure their internal organs. It facilitates the slowing down of ageing and effective in managing illness caused by Qi imbalance and is the founding bastion of Shiatsu practice.
Contact Qi An Mo - Touching the skin. Skin contact practitioners lightly touch the skin to correspond with patient’s Qi. Facilitating disordered Qi back to its proper pattern; healer and patient co-operate in healing.
Non-contact Qi An Mo – does not use skin contact. Practitioner uses their Qi to induct in patient’s Qi without touching them. It is safer for practitioners to not use skin contact; so as not to absorb Qi from the patient.

Shou Jiao An Mo
directly translated is hand & foot reflex stimulation; used as treatment and/or relaxation implementing all the aforementioned techniques along meridian points which correspond to the related body organs.

Other techniques namely; gua sha, cupping, moxibustion. ...view more
